I got my first HOBO bag as a gift almost 10 years ago, and I've been a fan every since. The only purses I buy are HOBO, because they last, they're comfortable and they rarely go out of style. That initial purse I received, I still get compliments on it.

Oddly enough, I didn't own a single black pursue until this one. I couldn't be happier. You may hesitate on the price initially, but I shop around for a good deal. The one piece you need to remember is you're not buying a purse that's only going to last a few months, these will last you a decade plus if you take care of it. And by take care of it, I mean normal use, wipe it down on occasion, but live your life :)

A few things, the size in the picture of the lady holding it, is pretty accurate. It is wide, however this is not an oversized bag. It is slim lined so it fits perfectly under you arm, but had enough size that you could probably hold a 6 pack of water bottles. The small straps may seem like they'd be uncomfortable, however unless you're going to be packing 20 lbs in that purse, it's quite comfortable. The two pockets on the outside of the purse are glorious. I use the small one for my keys, the big one for my phone, it's perfect. But, if you're in a "questionable" area, the handy pockets on in the inside (which every HOBO has) fit an iPhone, and another for my keys just perfectly. It's a very clean, understated and classy purse without being overbearing. The leather is extremely soft, and the vintage looks gives it a slightly broken in look. Which, I have to give HOBO a hi-5, I own 3 vintage leather bags and they get more compliments than any of the other bags I own.

All in all, this bag will be a staple for you.

**Oh one small thing, and I think this goes for any leather bag with sealed seams on a stiff handle. If you are a heavy user of a single purse without switching out regularly (which I am, a very seasonal user), you will notice wear on the handles and some slightly cracking in the seam sealer. I've really only noticed this in the lighter colored bags like red, grey and pink. I haven't experienced this with the darker colors like black and dark brown. Again this is ONLY with the stiff handles, I don't believe this bag will have that problem.
