Absolutely stunning bag. I am picky about my purses and this one has it all. It is a nice size to carry all my things (including a large sunglasses case) without being overwhelming. I don't like hunting for things in the bottom of my purse and this one is not too deep while at the same time wide enough so items in the bag are not jumbled on top of each other. I especially like the opening of this bag because it is wide enough to access the contents of the purse easily. I highly recommend this bag. I think it's my new favorite.

I searched for and found this bag specifically for a trip to Europe. I wanted a bag big enough for my stuff, with a flat profile that wasn't bulky, with a long strap for over the shoulder.

This bag has all of that and more, and I love it, love it, love it! It is long rather than wide and that made a huge difference. Many things could fit neatly inside and the pockets all were usable and perfect for my needs. Everything is zippered, too, which made it feel very secure.

Camera, wallet, sunglasses, umbrella and even a light jacket, at times, could fit neatly inside. I even hiked with it, slung on my lower back and that worked, too. The leather is good quality and soft, which I really like.

I will keep it forever!

I may not be a millionaire handbag designer, but I do know a high quality item when I see one. This purchase did not fail me!!! It's like the famous "Hermes" bag, which cost about $15,000!! This bag was a MUCH more reasonable price. I wanted something in that same style and would also last a life time. So, I researched the Maxwell Scott story, which I recommend, and fell in love with them. Knowing my bag was made in Italy by people who have used the same techniques for 200 years was all I needed to know. When it arrived I couldn't wait to open it!! WOW!!! The top grain leather is so smooth and has little natural veins here and there to add a unique look to My bag. The color is just a beautiful brown with auburn undertones like true oilrubbed leather should be. And it just smells like good old time leather, if you know what I mean. I quess it's because they don't use any chemicals to tan the leather. The overall size and opening are perfect. I can fit tons of stuff inside and get to them with ease with the huge opening. Even the cell phone holder is made from the same top quality leather!! The gold hardware makes it look even more expensive, but you'll know you paid just a fraction of the price of the "La-De-Da" handbag. Franco Sarto Dixon Cross Body,Pewter,One Size Review

I just received the bag in the pewter for something different. It is really bronze, but I do like the color. I've never purchased a bag in anything other than regular colors but this color caught my eye. It is a good medium size and I love cross-body bags. It has lots of compartments to keep everything organized. The leather quality is so-so. I'm picky about my leather and usually purchase in the store so I can feel the quality. My current bag is a Fossil and you can tell the difference in the quality of the pebble leather I wouldn't pay full price for Franco Sarto. One thing I don't like is the NON leather trim. A lot of company's cut costs on the trim and the vinyl straps don't hold up. The strap is adjustable which is a plus and it lays nice against my body, not bulky. Not sure if this is going back, but it is nice if you're not as picky as me.
