The 1-star reviewer here is kind of weird, b/c the exact same one appears on every Lodis product. Anyway, I have the Lodis Audrey Zip-top Tote in black with red trim and it's wonderful quality. The leather has a light sheen that looks beautiful and has that new-leather smell (it is indeed authentic leather). The red trim is subtle and adds a pop of a style. It is roomy inside w/a padded laptop compartment and large interior compartment (could fit laptop, pair of heels, lunch, makeup bag, folders), and the exterior organizer pocket can hold more (i.e. newspaper, phone, wallet etc). The square design makes the silhouette slim and compact so it doesn't look like you're lugging an enormous bag like so many totes and laptop bags do. Works for petite and tall women equally well (I'm 5'4" and it's hard to find a laptop tote that doesn't look like a gigantic weekender bag on me! This one is the perfect size).

Love my blingy purse! All the pockets are sooooo convenient to hold odds and ends. My wallet is very secure inside secondary to the zippered closure. Though it isn't real leather, the quality is very good and the rhinestones are all very well attached, not like some other purses I've had in he past. A Glock 17 fits very nicely in the hidden compartment, and no one ever knows!

This is one of the cutest purses I've seen in years! I've been looking for many years for retro/vintage style bags, frame satchel with a kiss lock. As the other reviewers mentioned, it does not appear sturdy at the handle connections and the lock itself. I was planning on a purse to take around every day through winter and spring, and I am a little bit clumsy, so I need something that will last. So for the price and my budget constraints, I couldn't keep it. I would like to say that the seller shipped in in a very cheap and unreliable manner, only covered in plastic bubble wrap, two sheets of tissue and then a plastic (not even padded) mailing bag. I would have AT LEAST expected a box for this bag since it has a delicate finish on the surface. And since I'm returning it, their instructions are to return in a box. That is an unfair and cheesy practice in my view that I not only have to pay return shipping costs but also provide a container because they were too careless and/or negligent to ship in a respectable box.

Just bought this bag. It seems bigger than a lot of the other Harvey's bags (I was surprised how small even the large tote was) - it can hold a phone, kindle, full sized wallet, with room to spare. This is the second Anuschka bag I have owned. The first bag was absolutely beautiful but it turned out it was a bit small for me and I ended up over stuffing it to the point it would not shut properly. This new bag holds absolutely everything without appearing large at all! All the outside pockets help organize and are very generous in size. I keep pens, small writing tablet, eyeglasses, gum, 2 protein bars, and more all in the outside pockets! I agree with a previous commenter, the outside cell phone pocket is the perfect fit for your cell phone. It provides such easy access yet it is snug in the pocket and won't fall out ( I own an iPhone ) . The inside of the bag has a generous zippered pocket and two other open pockets. I can fit a full size iPad inside this bag, horizontally or vertically and the bag zips shut with no difficulty!!! Oh, did I mention, that IPad fits perfectly with my full sized wallet, keys, makeup, various medications etc also inside the bag! One last comment, I am primarily a shoulder bag person and the bag fits comfortably on my shoulder. All in all, the bag is just plain wonderful!
