I love Kate Spade bags and own quite a few of them. I spent a long time researching Kate Spade crossbody bags and setlled on this one because of its size and look. I travel for a living so I wanted a crossbody that would hold my iPhone 5, lipgloss, my ID and a couple of other cards. I really wanted to love this bag. Unfortunately, the zipper was difficult to open and close because it kept catching. I am not sure if it was a quality issue or a design issue. Also, the chains on the strap go through the bag so even though the bag measures 9 inches across you don't have that much room. Every time I tried to get something in or out of the bag the strap got in the way. The largest item was my phone and that went in and out of the bag frequently. By the end of the fifth day I was thoroughly frustrated and had to return the bag. I would definitely buy another Kate Spade bag, but not one where the strap goes through the bag.
