I purchased this robe for my husband as a gift. He is a tall man with long arms so I was concerned that the robe in the XL size would not be big enough. Right out of the box, it appears that the robe will be of sufficient size, however, it is 100% cotton and the fabric clearly has not been pre-washed. In fact, the flannel is quite thin and while inspecting the garment, I noticed I could actually see the panes of my window through it. Nonetheless, I expect the washed and dried product to still be of an ample size for my tall husband. The flannel is very soft and the design of the robe is nice. If you are looking for a plush robe, I would not suggest this product but if you are looking for a nice robe to wear around the house, it is a good purchase. I purchased it on a lightening deal at around $30.00 bucks which was much cheaper than any similar robes I have found out in local department stores. I'm knocking off a star because I don't think the quality of the flannel is really that good and I would never pay the full price listed on amazon.com, which is 70 bucks. Oh yeah, I purchased two of these, the green and dark blue. Much like the picture online, I really don't see green in the green robe at all, it's more brown. The blue seems true to the web photograph.

Update: After washing the robe, it shrunk as expected but still fits my husband with his long arms. There is one odd point of construction, the belt is sewn to the back of the robe and it forces the tie to be well above the area it should be resting on the hips. I plan to use a seam ripper and remove the stitches from the belt so it is separated from the garment.
