Knowing my bag was made in Italy by people who have used the same techniques for 200 years was all I needed to know. When it arrived I couldn't wait to open it!! WOW!!! The top grain leather is so smooth and has little natural veins here and there to add a unique look to My bag. The color is just a beautiful brown with auburn undertones like true oilrubbed leather should be. And it just smells like good old time leather, if you know what I mean. I quess it's because they don't use any chemicals to tan the leather. The overall size and opening are perfect. I can fit tons of stuff inside and get to them with ease with the huge opening. Even the cell phone holder is made from the same top quality leather!! The gold hardware makes it look even more expensive, but you'll know you paid just a fraction of the price of the "La-De-Da" handbag.
