This Frye bag is beautiful and spacious. Snaps instead of zipper closure are a minus. I have other expensive bags that have metal studs (one in each corner) on the bottom of the bag to prevent wear. This Frye bag does not have anything but bare leather on the bottom. I will have metal studs put on the bottom of the purse. This leather is not cowhide, I have read that it is goat! The bag says made in China.? I have the matching boots which say on the box that they were made in Spain (three years ago). What is going on here with China & goat skin? It seems to be more fragile that cowhide. I got a great sale price on this bag. I would never have paid full price of almost $500 for this bag, with leather that seems to be delicate side. It's not worth $500. Get it on sale only I suspect that this lovely bag will show wear easily.
