As someone 6'5" its hard to find pants that fit. I've found the Eddie Bauer long rise gives you the extra 1 1/2" rise so the pants sits at the waist. I personally don't like the below the waist fit which ends up sinking lower and bagging at the ankles. These have a nice fit that stays smart looking during the day. If you like pants below your natural waist then I wouldn t recommend the long rise. The cloth is a very natural cotton finish. They wash in a very natural look ---not the smooth shiney poly-cotton finish of say a Haggar or Docker. The cloth is not as heavy as an Orvis khaki cloth and the cut is far trimmer but then they are 2x 's cheaper.
